In past years,lightweight was made at on-site by spraying air bubbles (foam) into a half full ready mix truck.

Production volumes were about 5-10m3 per hour and low densities like 600kg/ m3 (25% of concretes weight)

were difficult to produce. Today, a full ready mix truck - full of mortar – arrives on site,  the mortar goes through

a ‘our mobile inline mixing unit and out comes a continuous supply of lightweight concrete.

Production volumes up to 50m3 per hour per unit are possible – with densities as low as 400kg/ m3 (15% the weight of concrete)
